Running socks are ready...

Dear Backers,

We hope that everyone of you and your loved ones is doing well, and has found a way to cope with this global pandemic in a positive way!

In this update we would like to inform you about two of the main aspects of every creator; Production and Shipping.

Unfortunately, the new manufacturing facility of the “light” version socks had a difficult time bringing them up to par with our quality requirements. It has been extremely hard delegating over the phone, and for that reason we are foregoing the production of this variant until we can go back to our Milan partners.

Accordingly, for those of you who have ordered pairs of both versions of the running sock, at this time, we have decided to replace the “light” sock orders with the “cushion” ones instead. In other words, it’s the same number of socks ordered, all in the cushion version.

We are ready to ship all orders to our North American location for US and Canada based backers. From there, orders will be dispatched to their final destinations with tracking info.

For the rest of the world, as of today, due to the Covid-19 situation, the postal services do not provide tracking information with your prepaid tier of shipping. We have decided to wait until Tracking information is made available and at that time start shipping you your packages.

UPDATE – Production & Shipping

Dear backers, 

We`d like to take a moment and shine some light on our current situation! 

 In a nutshell:

The Bad;

- We are faced with yet another delay on running socks fulfillment, as our partners in Northern Italy (Milan) are experiencing the Covid-19 mandatory precaution measures.

- At this time all our products that were made in Italy, and not shipped out, will remain there (yarn/socks).

The Good;

- All of the hiking socks were already finished and dispatched to our EU and US offices.

- As of today, we will have mailed out All of the Hiking socks ONLY orders, to US, Canada and the rest of the World.

- Meanwhile, we had received new yarn supplies

- We have come to an agreement with a new manufacturing partner outside of Italy, to complete the running socks orders.

- At this time we can say that, by the end of March , all remaining orders will be fulfilled.

Production Update...

Dear Backers, 

We are happy to report that all hiking socks are ready, and soon will get their packaging.

Unfortunately our running socks are still in production, and at this point we realy wish that we had the ability to do the manufacturing ourselves. 

We are closely monitoring the production process and even tough behind on our preliminary schedules, we are pressing hard to complete production and start shipping out sooner rather than later.

Production Start and Packaging

To Our Backers and Followers, 

Here is a quick update on our progress; We have received the total amount of yarn to begin the production of 18,000 pairs!!!! Yes, we know.  Also, we have completed the design and print of our socks packaging. 

Production will commence next week, and the we are targeting to start shipping out at the end of this month (1/29-1/31).

Production & Shipping

Dear backer friends,

We are very excited  and happy to have started the production of our Woolrior socks.
Thank you for your support!!!

We would like to inform you that, half of our yarn quantities  already  hit the production line, that includes all color/size variations for hiking socks.
Due to the fact that our partners are extremely busy around this time of the year, and chlorine-free / plasma treated/ yarn  is not a common practice for most wool yarn orders, we would have to wait our turn in queue to get it all done in every color scheme we offer.

We are still  able to send out some of your /hiking socks only/ orders before year`s end, but  it would highly complicate the logistics and we prefer to maintain things simpler and be sure every order is properly delivered in one parcel.
 

Again, hiking socks are already knitted and ready, but we are very unhappy to inform you that due to an unexpected delay of the delivery of colored  yarns for our running socks, we would have to move our shipping date to January 2020! We promised these yarns to be chlorine free and nothing less, but it turned out that holiday season is very busy for our partners. 

We are very sorry for that, and would like to make it up to you by adding an extra pair of Woolrior - casual no show merino socks. Please accept our apologies and best wishes for this holiday season!
